The CoatFold can be installed with or without drilling, so you can choose the mounting method that best suits your wall and intended use.
Option 1: Installation Without Drilling
A convenient option when you prefer not to drill into the wall.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly and make sure it is completely dry and free from dust and grease.
- Remove the protective film from the adhesive mounting strip.
- Position the coat rack at your desired height and location.
- Press it firmly against the surface to ensure proper adhesion.
- Allow the adhesive to set for 12-24 hours before hanging items on the rack.
Best suited to: Smooth, clean, non-porous surfaces such as tiles, glass, metal, and suitable finished surfaces.
Avoid using on: Rough, uneven, porous, wallpapered, or unstable surfaces.
Option 2: Installation With Drilling
Recommended when you want a more secure installation or plan to regularly hang heavier items.
- Position the coat rack and mark the required drilling points.
- Drill the holes and insert suitable wall plugs.
- Secure the coat rack using the appropriate screws.
- Check that the rack is level and firmly secured before use.
Tip: Adhesive mounting is best suited to lighter everyday items and compatible surfaces. For heavier coats, bags, or frequent use, drilled installation provides a more secure mounting solution.
